I have not read the article and, just guessing as to when you get a statue in your honor. it seems like a good time to whip out:
"One man's terrorists is another man's freedom fighter."

Okay, I know, I'm jumping Head-On into a Hornet's Nest, here, but killing People is always wrong - and erecting Statues for Persons, whose only Achievement in Life was Killing is the Peak of Cynicism.
I'm saying this in a general Sense. There are other Statues, too, that insult my Thinking as Humanist.
On the other Hand, Woody Allen once said: "Comedy is Tragedy plus Time."
Taking this into Consideration, this specific Statue is indeed Funny...

I'm with Nietzsche on this one...wonder if a Lee Harvey Oswald is up next for a statue

That is an affront to all the people who died in WWI...

...and a horrible, amateurish piece of sculpture it is.
