I've gotten used to yours, and it does sound better now. I don't notice it. Couldn't hear myself, but that's probably for the best. LOL I threw that together in a couple of minutes, didn't mean to double up on the footage like that.
Here is a video from last night. Had a lot of fun guys but I did cut out the discussion which contained my horrible brain fart with time off calculations. That slip up is way to embarrassing to be public record.
Nice, and there's a noticeable difference between the two mics I was using. The headset sounds much better than the desktop mic I was using as a backup.

Tues and Thurs. In retrospect, I might have gone a little too nuclear on Cpt Boom Boom, but he needs to expect a graduated response if he's going to fire ML's and dumbfire missiles at someone. In hindsight, I think it was overkill though.
Just started uploading, it's just at 7%, so give it some time.
Yeah Cpt Boom was bit overkill, his dry fired missiles was the part I thought was cheezy right into the doorway he knows all his teammates are coming out from, but yeah he could have easily said sorry or something to explain it and it would have been no big deal but he didn't... hats off the other guys on his premade for not turning it into a civil war we managed to have a fun round despite that initial jackassery.
Good fun, thanks for uploading, my favorite moment was when you ac20'ed that spider in the face
3 videos from last night. It was my first night with crabs and I have to say, I am not in the market for a cure anytime soon. Kludger, Raw and I played 10 matches, won 8. I killed 12 mechs while losing 2 in a crab that had a spare 320XL 4 ac5s 2 ac2s and everything else stock. That's right after buying the mech I was too poor to upgrade endo and doubles, though I'm not sure endo is necessary. First match out I bagged 4 kills, I was so excited I forgot to dump the recording. There were a couple of others I didn't drop because who wants to watch a crab waddle around for 2 entire matches, completely out of position (survived with 37 and 1 damage, ugh).
I think the hardest things for me to get used to were:
1. The limited view...kept getting stuck on stuff all night long 2. Positioning, there were several maps that I took myself completely out of the fight when I went left instead of right 3. Gun shy because I am not used to mechs that are quite so tanky.
Still looking for those 1000 dmg games that you get Sinner. Kludger had 2 of them last night.
Also Feet, you should try to lock up your target in the Crab. It helps with wide weapons convergence. I see both you and Kludger have all or most of your weapons on the same group -- I should try that. I've been doing left and right but I think in the heat of battle, I probably only fire off the left side. Cool video ... hoping to join up next week.
Nice video Feet thanks for uploading, fun rounds last night, glad you are getting along with the Crab, it's a very fun mech.
Weasel I noticed when he was spectating me it showed me as only having one fire group with all the weapons on it, but I actually split it up into 3: a left arm group, right arm group (so I can fire around corners without wasting ammo) and a AC2s group for long range suppression to avoid wasting AC5 ammo, so the spectator mode doesn't pick up groups apparently.
