Still catching up on a backlog of TV when I can and have not watched it yet but wanted to post up a thread for some new Scifi series that have started. Let us know what you think if you have watched it . . .
Interesting premise, the first 2 eps have been ok. Certainly seems better at this point than Stargate Universe did, but that show of course had expectations being Stargate that this one is free of.
Of course, lots of SG people working on this show behind the camera, even in front of. The young girl played little Adria in that episode of SG-1 where she went from baby to Morena Baccarin.

I've only seen the pilot, but I liked it. Kind of a Farscape feel, but edgier. Both of these shows are at least a good effort on SyFy's part. Some decent actors, lots of cgi, interesting settings. I'm thankful neither of these has turned out to be some time travel based crap so they can film cheaply in present day, or other money saving theme that gets overused. No more wrasslin' on Fri! ACTUAL scifi shows! Defiance is picking it up some too.
Yes, I was stunned to see the return of Sci Fi Fridays. I have fond memories going back to the Farscape/First Wave days up through the two Stargates and BSG during its second season.

I wish they would give us an air date for season 2. I'm anxious to get Dark Matter and Killjoys going again. They both had some good cliffhangers. Saw Luke Macfarlane from Killjoys on Mercy Street, a civil war drama, playing a priest. He's a good actor.
I'm up to episode 5 now and I am quite enjoying it, I seen a couple of actors from Stargate in it too (there was a BIG load of laundry to do...)
I've checked IMDB and see that there will be a season 2 but there are no dates against it.
Now all I need is The Expanse released over here, I was also almost tempted by Childhoods End when looking for something to watch today, I may get that when I've finished Dark Matter.
