Eh...I MIGHT get it if they pay me 11 Euros, but it will still likely cost me money to get it converted at current exchange rates...

Just picked up the ARMA 3 complete edition! So far I'm up to 3 games and 1 gift for the sale (ARMA 3, Homeworld, Command, and a gift copy of Homeworld for a friend). Hopefully that will be the end of the sale for me... (famous last words)

Panzer: I may, but with my hearing loss, voice comms tend to be a little rough. I'm definitely looking for playing tips or essential mods though, any recommendations?

The mods we use are freely available in the sticky thread at the top of the Arma 3 forum. Granted there are no missions included with them, but they do add to the stock content and change gameplay a bit, even if you won't have any missions with the extra terrains offline.

Considering Elite:Dangerous if it comes down enough. I haven't done space combat simulation since X-Wing.

Planet Explorers is really good for what it is. If you want to feel stranded on some planet like in some old movie. Its basically a build, mine and crafting game where you can do just about anything. It does have a story mode which where I started because I like story.

You do have to grind a bit at first and learn the interface but its a fun game and a good Early Access game is its regularly updated. Here's an older post from the screenshot forum that describes it more with pictures.

So Elite Dangerous is at 25% less right now.

Should I wait for a better rebate or is this the best we can hope for for such a recent game ?

In the same vein, Asseto Corsa is at 50 % now, and for _that_ one I assume this is as good as it can get...

You probably won't see Elite Dangerous go any lower. Basically if it's a flash sale or Daily sale, it's at its lowest point. I'm bummed too, that is the only other game I really really wanted from this sale.

Thank you sir. Right now just trying to optimize my rig. I'm running an AMD X4, and I've heard AMD doesn't like ARMA games (even with running a 970 GPU, I'm staying in the 15 fps range most of the time, with "optimized settings" based on Nvidia's recommendations, it's even worse.) I never really got into ARMA 2 because of the horrible AI, so I have a lot to learn, and there are soooo many mods to work through.

Anyone played Victory at Sea? How is it? Today is the weakest day of the sale in my opinion. Nothing that's a must have or really that intriguing.

If you like :

Board Games
Card Games
Deck Building
RPGs
Batman/ Witcher/ Shadow of Mordor series fight style

I thoroughly recommend Hand of Fate:

I found very challenging and entertaining, plus it has high replayability.

I've played it, and it is quite fun. Very very simple, just clicking to shoot at places, so no range estimation or anything like that. It plays fast, and is quite grindy (gain XP to get bigger ships, etc.).

Overall the steam sale is pretty meh this year, I feel.
