I'll keep an eye on it. Some of the battles in RO2 where among the best fun I've ever had in a MP shooter.

RO2 was better than RO1 but it lost some of the features that made the original enjoyable. Both were good but not amazing IMO (had fun playing both plenty). Hopefully with some minor improvements this one will be a winner, the last time I got to talk like Forrest Gump saying "Char-lay!" and "I got shot in the but-tocks" was when that Bad Company 2 expansion was popular.

For me, RO2's big miss was the screwing around with the tank combat. I really liked it in RO1, but I don't like big MP matches on public servers, I preferred coop with a couple of people vs AI and RO2 dropped the ball.
Oh, and there was the "bot running with MG in one hand and pointing at the ground, but firing at you and hitting you" crap.
RO2 was definitely one of my top 5 regretted game purchases.

You haven't bought enough games yet then, RO2 has some flaws but it wasn't ET for the Atari  No joke--I spent a lot more hours playing ET on my 2600 30 years ago than I did RO2. By at least a factor of 2. The Jedi Master

The stats bonuses were so incremental as to be pointless. Not too worried myself. More interested in them opening up the maps and slowing down the gameplay to more realistic speeds.
