I'll be getting it for sure. I absolutely loved the first Dishonored and played through the entire game twice.

Hey, that trailer is really very well done.

The first game did a lot of things right. Now if the sequel could improve on the things the first one did not get right, it could very well become a great game.

My only minor complaint with Dishonored was the lack of a cooperative mode for multiplayer. It would have been nice to have some dedicated coop missions where one guy plays as Corvo and the other guy plays as a fellow member of the resistance.

I was one who liked the pastel/water color painted look that they rendered their engine with. I was hoping they would do the same or with some variation but this makes it look like they went another route. However it still seems to have the unique look and feel of the first game.

I liked the water color look, but it had to grow on me. I prefer a more realistic look. The big hands got on my nerves too. LOL
Still, Dishonored is one of the best games of recent years. I'm glad to finally see another. It was a really cool alternate world they created.

Vienna, 2nd rock left.
Like the Steampunk, but first one was a tad too steahlty for me (and a bit too esoteric).

Nice to see the series continue.

I finished everything except Brigmoore Witches DLC. And the trials DLC which is totally uninteresting and immersion breaking in my opinion. Great universe. Hope there's more whaling lore.

I don't think I finished the dlc either. I wanted the same character and powers in it. Made it harder to get into.

I liked playing as Daud though. I don't know who did it but I also really enjoyed his voice actor. Kind of reminds me of Nick Nolte. I like when game stories let you bump into characters that you've played as before in the past. I thought it was so cool when I first played Half-life Opposing Force and opening that door only to see Gordon Freeman jumping into the portal which is what you do as Freeman in the first game.

Yes, the idea of being in the same story but playing it from a different POV is appealing if done right.

Aliens vs. Predator by Monolith did that quite well imho. The way the alien, predator and marine stories all intertwined was well thought out.

Will be interesting to see whether the game let's you carry over any of the decisions you've made in the first game regarding the "tone" of the backstory.

The Witcher 3 has an elegant and nicely done in-game solution with the questionaire at the end of the tutorial "prologue".

And make it more challenging at higher character levels. Once the player "unlocked" the teleport capability, the game became too easy. Playing without using it was an option, but not an ideal one.

Hope it's an open-world game. It kinda begs to be. And I remember reading an interview with developers of Dishonored 1, they said they would like to do an open-world follow up.

Ok. Now I need to finally go ahead and play the DLC's I bought LAST Steam summer sale. :P

You know, I think I did play the final Brigmore Witches DLC, but in retrospect I never played the Bright Lord DLC for Shadow of Mordor.

The Brigmore Witches DLC was good but I thought the Knife of Dunwall was even better.
