Just out of curiosity I took off from Friedrichshafen,on Lake Constance, and headed South/South West, first try was with an Alb DII but being distracted from scenery I found myself trapped in a long narrow valley wich ended up with an impassable mpountain pass, could not even try to turn back and crashed on its flank, thne I switched to a Roland CII,best long range plane in german inventory, started out at 3000m. so no need to make the long climb, and headed for Italy at about 5.33AM. Alps with the DII Alpine lake somewhere in switzerland Over to the Lake of Garda Toward Adriatic sea and Venice And Venice it's there in the Lagoon, reached at 7.0AM,now toward Trieste for an Austrian breakfast! Not so good a landing but...still 30% of fuel in. So the terrain it's all there, with objects and everything, now Polowski...PLEASE give us the Italian Front!!

Impressive trip and pictures, Cavaliere!
I guess the devs would love to have the Italian front, and it may already be somewhere further down their list of things to build. There are still so many things they wanted to do for the Western Front, that it may take a while, before they ever touch Italy. But good to know, that it is all there already!

. I've been hoping for the Italian Front to come to OFF, and now WOFF, for years. I built several missions and did a full set of Italian SPAD skins a few years back just to tide me over. But as Olham and Duke have so rightly pointed out, still a fair amount to do to complete the Western Front before moving southeasterly. Still, we can dream. .

Thank you all,it was awhile since I just wanted to see how far WOFF scenery could go down South,it's been a long flight indeed, most of it in 2x time compression (4x only after Alps were well cleared),over Alps you just cannot take "licenses",it's hard even to maintain 3000m of altitude in strong winds and at night, and flying such a "cow" Before reaching the Garda lake, thers's a big mountain cluster that I could not clear by altitude,so i had to pass on the western side of it and then retake the correct Route bearings.( I cleared a couple of passes by sheer tenths of meters anyway) I perfectly understand the Western Front priority still... I think that doing the Italian Front will put WOFF completely in another League, forever! I know it's a lot of work but since terrain it's already there....hope won't die! Next time I will be going to the West Coast, where I live, and have a look down there just for fun. By the way Austrian breakfast was nothing to die for,we have much better food and drinks.

I was never in Italy. I wonder how an Italian breakfast would be? Austria is great for coffee-time. Have you ever had 'Topfenpalatschinken'?
