Winder, I hope your dog did not really die, but if so, my honest condolences.
It must be dragging devs really down, when the first reactions on a new game or a patch for it are mostly negative. I hope it will be able to solve any problems with the graphics; then there should be many positive reactions, cause what I saw in screenshots looks so stunning! Didn't have the time yet to try it out - later today I will do so.

That dog was old anyway. Don't take it too hard Winder. Sounds like most of it is just texture shader issues for ATI cards and AnKors on it. It'll all be sorted out in no time. Brilliant patch sir. I run ATI 7870 and the shaders work fine. I think the problem is only with some people running ATI and not all!

Actually there so many of them available now that I don't have time to play even half of the ones that I own! I blame WOFF for consuming the most of my play time. However, flight sim development is not the best business for making money. That is obvious. Millions of people will buy and play the next Call of Duty; that will not happen with a flight sim release, no matter how good it is. Niche market is niche market.

I expressed myself wrong. What I meant was a general situation of incoming negative posts - not the reaction on this particular patch. Still: any negativism must be frustrating after some hard labour to improve things. I have just made a first short sortie, and it seems to me, that there are several improvements and changes which I will only slowly discover; like the new Flak puffs, or the visuals and sound of my own machine guns, which I find much improved now. Great job done again, OBD!

looks to me like WM is having a bit of a moan about some negative comments posted on here regarding the release of the latest patch????,or maybe about people posting with different ideas about what is right or wrong with some aspects of WOFF.At the end of the day i know this is Winders baby, along with Pols,Rex hannovers,Shredwards,Sandbaggers,OvStachels and a few others,I can perfectly understand that you guys (Coders,Modellers,Artists,Skinners) must at times get a bit peed off with some comments and posts on here, but i think you need to have a thick skin and just take a bit of criticism (constructive or otherwise) on the chin. Please WM dont take it personally,i dont believe that anyone as meant it that way.Anyway i hope thats what Winding Man means and BTW great patch so looking forward to balance of power Cheers
