G'day all
A couple of days back i invested in all the goodies to get WOFF up and running, i have had a brand new copy of CFS3 still in it's box for years never having felt the desire to give it a whirl. been flying sims since the mid 90's and always favoured WWI but never found one that i thought could surpass RB3, had ROF and all it's aircraft/addons, but always left me cold, with iffy AI, and seemed somewhat sterile.
I love the early war period, and quickly fired up a campaign flying a Pup, managed 3 missions before i pulled the wings off of it after tangling with 3 albi's. Pilot 2 is 12 missions in 15 hrs airborne and 6 kills and a DSO to his name, going well, but got the pucker factor a couple of missions ago when i came across my first Albi's, those things are in a different league to my poor little DH2! hope we don't run into anymore before we get new aeroplanes, the Eindecker's will do just fine until then wink am playing with all realism settings maxed, and graphic sliders cranked right up, am having a blast, congrats to all involved in bringing us this sim, magnificent work, and i will be sure to buy any extra goodies that you have in development, or planned! BTW i don't suppose there is a Morane N in the pipeline, love that little plane, was always a favourite in RB3!

Cheers

The problem with the World is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

Glad you are having fun!
Seem to remember flying against your squad back in early IL2 days when I was with the RAF_74.

Me too...welcome to the best flying sim ever.....been at it since CFS emerged in the late 90's and WOFF has taken that engine and bred an Indy car set in WW1. The community's well mannered....and the support from the devs is outstanding. Furthermore....the best six months of my life were spent in Perth during the Americas Cup races. Have a soft spot in my heart for the place....even if swimmers are considered a lunch snack off Cottesloe beach. Spent all my time windsurfing off the Marine Parade and met a lot of good friends. You'll meet more here.....always ask if you've a question....you'll be as gratified by the responses as I was when the locals took me to the best spots. Cheers....
