I’m gunna call your bluff on that half hour tire rotation JimK. Anyway, I'd definitely want to re-torque those nuts after that one minute job. I rotated my tires with one jack in a parking lot last fall in about an hour and it was a damn good workout.

Rotated tires on my 2006 Honda Odyssey by myself. In under a half hour. And fully re-torqued all the alloy rims to 98.ft-lb. Was time and my only slow down was tire wear. Had to jack up the front more to fit the bigger worn rear tires up front. Front wheel drive.
Now I have to learn my old ways with my 2003 Jaguar S-type 4.2 V8 rear drive. takes me a little longer, about 40 minutes, to change the wheels on my Range Rover

Half an hour is no problem, I use about that to change all four tires on my car.
I use a wrench with an extendable handle to get more leverage. Cheap fix for those seemingly welded-on bolts after a winter of driving through snow and salt slush.
In all my years I've never seen the like. It has to be more than a hundred sea miles and he brings us up on his tail. That's seamanship, Mr. Pullings. My God, that's seamanship!

Same here, I always re=torque after a new tire change at the garage to, they always over torque them. Knowing this makes it easier when rotation time comes. I used 2 scissor jacks at the same time lifting one side while rotating. And my heavy 3/4" socket set with extra long handle makes it a breeze breaking them loose. Broken studs are no fun.

I can change a main tire on an A-10C in about 10 minutes, including jacking, torquing, breaking loose, retorquing, and safety wiring the bolts. That was great and all...but the real time came with doing the paperwork, computer work for records, supply requests, etc. Actual work - 10 minutes, time for the job - about an hour...lol.

Speaking of tire rotation, I think I might've done mine a bit wrong. I just did the "all vehicles" diagonal switch as depicted in the second example here ... I hope it's ok since there's also the front wheel drive method and I have a front wheel drive car. The alignment still feels bang on though.

I do the 4WD rotation on my Jeep TJ with a twist...I integrate my full sized spare into the mix. ProComp 33x12.5 R15 Extreme MT tires are expensive...and wear pretty quickly.

I roll all four winter tires into the garage in spring and put four summer tires on. Vice versa in the autumn. That's my rotation.
