Hardcore team pvp.... how about coop... or an open world...

Estimated delivery Aug 2016... so full game in 1 year? I think ill pass. If they actually make it (which looks doubtful at this point) and it's good ill buy it but I am not all that interested in what they are presenting.

I think "a hardcore team-based PvP multiplayer..." is the new kill phrase for games for me now. It used to be the words "accessible" and "broad appeal", but now it's like it's faster and easier to put out a MP only game than something with good AI, a story, co-op etc.

I was disappointed to see the 'single player story driven campaign' at the highest (unattainable) funding goal.

Same here, I might have backed it with a good single player or coop experience. But multiplayer space furball, with the potential issues of micro transactions and grinding won't do. It reminds me of MWO when they said that multiplayer would be the beginning, leading to potential single player later - I'm still waiting for a new single player Mechwarrior campaign...

Me too. I've dropped MWO like an ugly hooker until I see what they originally intended release.

I'm still enjoying MWO, but 2-3 times a week is enough. A huge co-op campaign would be killer.
There are so many interesting game starts going on, but if all they are is PvP, they end up being the same game with different skins. Just like what killed off military shooters for me. It takes a good story to really immerse you in the game universe.
