Hello, I've had a good look through the forum and have a question about the resolution.
My laptop is running at a resolution of 1960x1080. The simulator docs say I need to run at 1280 x 1024 or above so I should be fine. However when I start up the simulator it tells me my resolution is something different 1960x564, anyway something that my resolution isn't set at. I click ok to continue and try the practice using the SA-2, the screen displays fine, but I can't see how to exit or change screens.

I've looked through the documentation I have downloaded and trying to find basic controls and my Alt-Tab doesn't work and I need to go into task manager to shut it down.

I'm running an Intel Core I5 with a Radeon Graphics card, Windows 8.1

If the screen is corrupted, or switches are in wrong position.
You need to set Windows screen magnification back to 100%.



How to exit the game depends on the system started. (usually the system switch off button)

Yes, I see exactly that screenshot that you have posted. The buttons work so the simulator does work, I just couldn't figure a way back to the start screen. I read the SA-2E detailed docs, and found the off switch

Thanks I went back through the manual. Was in a bit of a rush yesterday...Work today is slow so will be putting it to good use.

SAMSim also reads your screen resolution
So you could have a 1920x1080 screen running on a 800x600 (Why you would want to is another matter) and SAMSim will read your screen as 800 x 600.
(Its happened to me)

If you force shutdown SAMSim you will need to restart windows explorer.

i hav question about miss disrance in sam sim
so.. what is exacly it is ?
for example miss distance 10m
it means missile explode from 10m away from target ,?

if its not. would u show me what is miss distance on one picture ?
