I'm going to ask this question anyway - even though I think it may have been asked before - but can't find anything on it that beckons me to the right place. Is there or are there plans for a SimHQ mobile app?

I was just thinking this the other day. I did programming at college and as a hobby back in the day before life took over and am tinkering with Google app development and was thinking about a SimHQ app. I may start tentatively looking if feasible, but I wouldn't know who to ask permission off etc? Would only really be possible for Android though as never tinkered with Apple products....

And I have a Blackberry Q10. There's a beer forum that I frequent that has one that works fine with mine regardless. Not sure if they have to be specific as to manufacturer.

I'll start to actively look into it, though I suppose there isn't much point if there isn't a demand for it.

Tapatalk used to work on my old android. But I can't seem to get SimHQ to come up on this note3.

Have asked for Tapatalk support before. It would be REALLY nice to have it here.

I rarely check SimHQ when on my phone because the side column layout tales up so much room that it makes the forum content and font so small that it's a huge pain to use on a small screen since you have to zoom in for each thing you want to read or navigate.

A real phone friendly layout or Tapatalk support would be awesome thumbsup

BTW I think I read somewhere recently that Google Search is going to start rating sites that have a mobile layout higher in the search results than sites that don't so it would seem to make monetary sense as well from a site hits perspective.

As much as I hate the current forums on mobile - it's literally the worst of any page I visit - I'd hate a mobile app more. I visit the site when I'm surfing the internet and I visit several sites along the way, often coming here on the Spur of the moment. A mobile app would massively reduce how often I would visit.

Tapatalk on the other hand is the most intrusive piece of cow dung I've ever encountered. Having to put up with their pop up prompt on every visit simply because I delete my cookies and dislike them tracking me around the Web as a 'service' would quite possibly bring my visits close to zero. I say this because there are sites I did stop visiting for no other reason than that.

Is there a way to make the (often animated/distracting) bottom banner ad that follows you around stay gone when it's closed? I get the same flashing Best Buy ad covering the bottom 6th of my iphone each time I load a new thread or back up to the forum. If it's by design I understand but I wanted to bring it up in case it's not normal.
