13, most of them were easily recognisable for us Brits. The 'Iberia' one was the most inaccurate. surprised they had none from the Mappa Mundi; too well known I suppose.

I know no Latin except lorem ipsum Lorem Ipsum? I think I went to school with him. I didn't know he was Latin, though.

If the test would have been fill in the blank instead of multiple choice I wonder how well we would have done? I would have gotten the Black Sea and nothing else. Wheels

Missed three. Would've been four if Mudcat hadn't mentioned the Orkney Islands. No Latin knowledge at all, but it's not difficult to extrapolate what some of those words refer to. whoops, went back and put a spoiler on my post.

Of course, how would this knowledge ever be of any use?

The opinions of this poster are largely based on facts and portray a possible version of the actual events. More dumb stuff at http://www.darts-page.comFrom Laser: "The forum is the place where combat (real time) flight simulator fans come to play turn based strategy combat."

The Jedi Master There is none beyond just having fun doing a quiz on an internet forum which was the original intent anyway. What's truly bad are those people who spend thousands of dollars to get a degree in art history or psychology.

There's something to be said for not allowing a 17 yr old to pick their major.

Of course, how would this knowledge ever be of any use? What if an all-star team of freelance terrorists led by a cartography obsessed German baron take everyone in the white house hostage and only you and a series of medieval maps stand between them and world domination? Unlikely but you never know... I'll call Nic Cage. Oh and I got 12/15
