I'm fiddling with the BED editor, and the instructions mention something about how certain groups are generated at FARPs. I don't really understand. I've limited the RAH-66 to Light Attack Recon groups in the FORMCOMP, but they are still everywhere. It seems that FARPs generate these first, then MAYBE another type. Any way to change that?

From what I've read a while ago, all units are spawned at their corresponding shacks on the airport. There is a pool of units off map, that the airports are taking the reinforcements from. After they spawn they have to be transferred to their FARP's.
Hope that answered your question somewhat.

So each type has it's own "shack"? Hmmmmmm. Time to investigate further. And does anyone know the differences between the different FARP types? (American_farp01, 02, etc)?

You can check how look any farp in lightwave.These are just different versions of the FARP occurring in the game.

scenes doesn't consist information about aircraft groups - only landing pads and ground objects positions. these scenes makes FARPs looks different in the game.
