Yes, one can not thank the skin makers enough.
It takes a lot of time to produce a quality skin, and it is a great contribution to gameplay.
The same goes for the map makers.
It needs hundreds of working hours to make a detailed map!

I attached a few pictures of the Fulda-Gap map made by Falli from PzBtl911(v) and added a google earth shot for comparison.

This is why "action shots" with steelbeasts are a bit of a challenge.
This picture is was taken this Thursday in a PzBtl911 COOP(=some human players versus scripted enemy) game.
In the foreground: My Leo1A5 (company command vehicle)
Then there is a Leo1A5 platoon(4 tanks) in front of me manned by 4 players...and in tacticaly sound formation/distance
The Platoon leader is at my 11 O'clock and at the very edge on the left you see the 2IC. ==> it's hard to get everything into one picture.

Another shot of the same platoon in the assembly area:

Arguably that's also one of the reasons why there are so few tank movies made in Hollywood. You have to compress formations to the point of being ridiculous to fit them to a screen, and even then they still look small, and let's not even begin with the actors' faces.

Things get even more interessting if you try to get your tank and the enemy into one picture:
Leopard 2A4 in position, enemy is at 12 o'clock

You see: nothing.

If you switch to 8x magnification, you see them, but your own tank would be to big for the picture.

In the gunners primary sights(GPS) you get a good view, and might even identify them a T-tanks.
Distance to target is 2220m, which is considered a standart engament range.

And that my friends, is why tankies usually just laugh if the infantry speaks about "long range engagements" :-)

...conveniently ignoring the amused chuckle of the artillery men next table...

From this Friday's VOWOPANZ . (Played with users from Australia, Spain and Germany, Map: Fulda Gap)

Remanents of E-Troop making a hasty retreat through the Nuhr valley.
Our CAS is also giving up their BP after losing one AH-64.
