A fix is available here : http://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/14510-nvidia-3d-vision-fix/#entry245154

It gives: fix for cloud/smoke/fire/flares/stuka cockpit&ground objects ghosting issue + smaller size of sight (in order to use it at high separation/convergence settings) + 3d icons &labels (disabled by default) + 2 separation/convergence settings for cockpit view + separation/convergence settings for external view + temporary low depth setting for gunner view.

Key to use:
----------
Y : change the label/icons/GUI depth. Zero depth for reading GUI and high depth to use icons/labels
U : cycle through sight scale : game setting by default, then setting for german sights, then settings for russian sights, then default and sos on
J : toogle on/off faulty ghosting shader but also light flooding on panel
F1 : cycle through separation&convergence settings for cockpit view
Mouse 4: low separation/convergence settings

You may have to press 2 time the key in order to make the effect working...

Example of reduced sight size for backward head position (I reduced it more in the patch because it was too painfull to use with the highest convergence/depth settings) :

Based on Helix dll (http://helixmod.blogspot.com), Bob3 school for Shaderhackers (http://wiki.bo3b.net/index.php?title=Bo3b%27s_School_for_Shaderhackers) and TomcatQW mod (http://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/14510-nvidia-3d-vision-fix/)

Lefunste, tried this out last night definitely a step in the right direction however, when I try to pan with the mouse the screen goes white Also goes white durring the flyby view, is this a known issue or do I have something mucked up?

It looks like others player did not have the same effects as on my PC...
I do not know if it is linked to my configuration (SLI..) but it works flawlessly on my PC !
Do you have the white screen in Ultra or High mode ?
Do you have the same problem with the tomcatQW patch (fisrt post) ?

TomcatQW and my fix are not cumulative.
You can try to uninstall my fix and install his. It should work better than my mod for your case, but you will not have pre defined settings, sight downscaling and some other fixes (flares...).

Another way is to try to find which shaders are working on my config and not on yours.
Can you try to rename in bin/game/ShaderOverride/PixelShaders/
D6F71B30.txt into -D6F71B30.txt
E16DBC86.txt into -E16DBC86.txt
and see if it's better for you ?

For what its worth,,had the same panning problem inside the cockpit too until I pressed the J key and that resolved the issue however this made no difference in the external view seems like a great mod if i could just get it to work

J key is deactivating the fix. In ultra or high mode this should give you heavy ghosting.
Did you try tomcatQW patch ? It should works better than mine on your PC...
Try to fly in cloud and over stalingrad with it in order to check if the fixes are working. This will ensure that there is no other problems than my shaders fixes.

Then, you should install my patch again and try to deactivate each shader one by one (by adding a "-" in front on the name in bin/game/ShaderOverride/PixelShaders/*.txt and in bin/game/ShaderOverride/VertexShaders/*.txt) and find which ones are making the problems for internal or external views.
You will have to modify one shader name, launch BoS, check, quit BoS, set the shader as it was (if it does not fix the problem), and so on.
Quite boring but I can not help you in another way...
Then give me the faulty shader name.

Ishbu,

To eliminate the white flicker effect while panning, turn off the cinematic effect (blur) in the settings. This worked for me.
