Ok, so I obviously don't have any screens yet but GTA V for the PC comes out tomorrow and, since I'm stuck in the California desert for at least the next week, I'm relying on you guys.
So, post em when you got em. Help me live vicariously through you.

That looks most impressive. I'm still on the fence though. Never was a big fan of the actual GTA gameplay, although I very much enjoyed the story/characters in GTA IV and the fantastic open world.

If you enjoyed GTA IV, you will love this game. Story and characters are way more fleshed out, much richer story and the world is beyond beautiful, Rockstar's art style is superb.
"It takes forever +/- 2 weeks for the A-10 to get anywhere significant..." Ice
"Ha! If it gets him on the deck its a start!" MigBuster
"What people like and what critics praise are rarely the same thing. 'Critic' is just another one of those unnecessary, overpaid, parasitic jobs that the human race has churned out so that clever slackers won't have to actually get a real job and possibly soil their hands." Sauron
By the way, having GTA 5 PC play your own music (instead of in-game radio stations) is supposed to be this easy:
Quote:
First off, you need to find the Rockstar folder under Documents. Then click on its subfile GTA V, then User Music. This is the folder that dictates what songs you can add. So simply find your tunes and copy/paste them into this folder.
From there, you need to boot the game up, go into settings>audio then set Self Radio Mode to either radio, sequential or random. Whatever suits your fancy. Then you must scan for music by selecting either Quick Scan or Full Scan below. Perhaps do both just to be safe as it's a very quick process.
And voila! Your music should be blasting out whatever automobile you happened to steal. Grand indeed.
Can't wait to set this up tonight as I am not a fan of the in-game radio stations.

Nice! What kind of (if any) graphics features did you need to scale to get smooth play in triple screen?
Gonna play tonight when off work. Already have it on 360 and XBO, but really wanted it for the Mods that are sure to be popping up soon, and to play it FPS style with Mouse/KB.
That said, who's up for some MP? Gotta get all tactical up in here

I never played the PS4 version long enough to get back into the sub in fps mode which I imagine would look and feel pretty darn cool. Had the 360 version and traded it and then did the same for PS4. Love the game engine and world but hate the characters. Missions are a lot of fun and just hate depravity celebrated in these characters. I know they say the point is that these games are a satire but that still doesn't make it enjoyable to play people like this. I'd be curious to see what mods come about.

Played a bit last night and did a few missions. I spent a decent amount of time messing with the graphics settings…MSAA is a framerate killer for sure. I will post some screens tonight if I get a chance to fire it up.

Another killer is Grass Detail. Turn that down to High. Ultra will kill the framerate on even a top-end SLI system. I reached the countryside with it on Ultra and it felt like I was moving through syrup, as my framerate just started to tank. Very High is better but still has drops for me.
In the intro / city it's not super noticeable due to the lack of foliage.
Damn! That's pretty deep into the story. Games been out only 24 hours!
