Installed the demo 2x hoping to fix an error where I see the skybox but no polygons at all, and the ground is just a red area. Any idea what this is?

Try to disable video driver bugs Forced AA in driver settings.

Didn't seemm to do anything. Tried the old version which installed and ran fine so I went ahead and bought the Steam verison hoping it will work.

FYI, installed the full version from Steam and it worked without touching any settings.

If you once disable the forced AA in driver, then everything will work without problems.

I was trying the demo, the M60 mission seems to run really poorly for me, I have an i5 760 cpu and GTX 680 gpu.

What do you mean "run really poorly"?

It does not start? crash? lags? graphic artifacts?

The framerate is very chunky in the M60 mission as well as the firing range mission, but not in the other mission.
