This really does look like it's shaping up to be superb. Only gripe from me so far is the boarding Ops are realtime and not urn based or WEGO.

Yeah, that looks really good. The combat is far better than what they're showing on Into the Stars. Maybe it will be RTS but with a pause? I like that style, kind of like Nexus the Jupiter Incident.
I see some FTL in this game too. I bet the boarding parties work similarly, just with eye candy instead of such a basic game. FTL may end up being one of the most influential games in a long time.

Im really looking forward to this one. Especially the coop. I hope it is a bit slower pace than FTL though. That was the one thing that really ruined FTL for me. You have to click everywhere during fights for no reason. They could have easily slowed it down again by half but chose not to.

Anyways, looking forward to this. Beta in Septembeer'ish.
