Well moving Forward I bought a Bosch Laser Level and Configured my screen to perfection.. I can not believe how bad the alignment was.. I am going to have to move the Projectors up a bit as now the lower right is in shade for somereason.. I am a firm believer in being as close to perfection as I can get and this Auto Leveler has done a really good job.. I was thinking of doing this for sometime I am glad I went ahead and bought the Laser level.. The good thing is it has a insert to be able to attatch to my Mike stand so I have a solid base and the auto level feature makes it a perfectly straight line.. I can not wait until I try a flight sim now with the new correction.. here is the model I bought: http://www.boschtools.com/Products/Tools/Pages/BoschProductDetail.aspx?pid=GLL 2

As always wow! Been thinking about building a screen, I have a pretty large pull down projection screen which is great for overhead projectors and power point presentations but having a purpose built screen has gotten me thinking lately.
I've got a bad feeling about this.....

Well good thing I can point you to a great website for building a DIY Screen. I am getting pretty good results with the Behr Silver screen paint which seems to be a hot itme for DIY screens.. Let me know if you want to build a DIY Screen I can offer some assistance in the process..

I am looking to do something similar like this with FishEye lenses. now I need to do a ton of research and save my pennies but who knows maybe in a few years I can save enough to do this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2P04O6snbWIDoes anybody have any experience with fisheye lenses and such??

Well Jumping ahead I am quicky reverting from the above Titan screen to a Collimated Display like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vq30JMknmpgOh F15sim, I could use some more in depth details on a How too.. I am so wanting to build one of these displays now..

Unfortunately, the patent for the curved bits at either end of the mirror cell don't expire until 2017.
g. What bits are they?? I am guessing this means I can not build one, well that really stinks

Yes I seen the video of the device you guys made very neat. But IF I am unable to build that device or you if you could so kindly send me some detailed schematics of it I guess I would need to find another way to control the shop vac..
A lot of questions have risen up and I am unsure where to turn for help with designing and building this Screen.. Are you able to help me??

Wayne developed the circuit that uses an IR sensor to detect the position of the mylar. That in turn connects to an Arduino Uno that controls the servo used for the speed controller. Unless you know exactly what you're doing with regard to the design of the mirror cell and screen, there's no point in worrying about how to control the vacuum. I don't mean to sound like a jerk, but I'd rather not work on any external collimated display projects until after that patent expires. Rockwell-Collins could turn me into a smoking hole in the ground just by filing a suit. They wouldn't even have to win it. g.
