I used "search" and only got responses for XBOX.

Is anyone playing any of the HALO series (1,2,3,4...?) on a PC? I see that HALO 2 came out for PC but specs say VISTA only, and I now have a WIN 8.1 machine. I'd like to give HALO a try.

I have the original on the PC but I haven't touched it in ages. Honestly, if you really want to play the series an Xbox One and the Master Chief Collection are going to be your bread and butter.

I guess, as I would do the same, he wants to play keyboard and mouse.

Loved the first two, just couldn't be bothered to play the rest on consoles- Only shooter I could play on consoles was Golden Eye/Perfect Dark.

Afaik the only PC versions of the series is Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2.

Halo1 should work on XP,V,7

Halo2 unless they patched it relied on the aborted Ganes For Windows Live, so I dunno if it still works.
