I'm having a fantastic time playing GTOS; which leads to two questions:

First, from what I can tell, SABOW is a kind of cross between GTOS and SB Pro PE. Is that correct? Is there a GTOS tactical-style side to SABOW, or is it primarily tank to tank?

Second, I have SB pro PE, but I tired of it -- something about the drabness of its graphics. What's the difference in actual capabilities and enjoyment between SABOW and SB Pro PE? Is it worth having both?

SB PRO is more focused on much more modern systems. And of course way more playable vehicles and all. With sabow getting 2...the t62 and M60. But both have most of their systems modeled and correctly. So you basically are a company tank commander with command of attached units in SABOW. Unlike GTOS, you dont get the free cam, or the free camera) set up phase (I dont really like that). For set up of your tanks and attached units (infantry-non-playable vehicles-air/arty spotters) you get just a map. But the same tools for set up as it GTOS. Battles are broken up exactly like GTOS. But if you have no playable tanks around the battle auto resolves instead of you having any input...I also do not like this.

But its a good game. Hopefully this remastered one improves upon it.

SB pro is good too. But I think GTOS style campaign system is a bit better for a single player game.
