Damn and all this time I've been having my turret follow everywhere I look! DOH!

On the topic of difficulty when palying Germans.



This is my most played German tank. I read forums after dying and dying again from frontal shots. Best advice was take only 28 shells, this will remove ammo rack behind the driver. You can try to outsmart Shermans , but if you have more ammo than 28 all it takes for them is to shoot you through the driver's window. Works everytime , from any distance up to 1.5 km , one shot kill. I know about angling , but it only works when you are aware that you are under fire.



Now my American tank of choice until I unlock 76 version. As you can see , a huge difference. F2 and Stugs are your main adversaries and it's possible to one-shot them from the front.

I don't want to insult anyone but playing Tier II American tanks , especially first Sherman is 'easy mode'.

God I dont want to see my Su85 stats. When you play nothing but Tigers and KTs they become abit distorted. lol

I hate Shermans as a Tier II German just as much as I hate Jagdpanthers as a Tier III Su85M. Bastids!

My mouse wheel (pushed down) stops the turret from moving too. I do not remember setting it that way either, so I think it is default.

I use trackIR, rudder pedals for steering and stick hat button for gears and guns......I should be invincible; but.....

Was this Poland ? Just wondering because i held our flank for about five minutes there against a Marder and some PZ M/H's on the weekend. Where the Germans spawn East side and they come over the hill opposite the city and down past the castle it is always easy to hull down and hold that flank from the rise south of the castle. Sometimes you may only get one or two travellers past there in a game, other times you get a swarm.




Binos are the go dude. Your turret will stay where you left it when you go bino mode, once you spot something, click fire and your turret will move to the centre of your binos, enter gun view and you are on your target

I'm not sure Ajay,I can't ID the maps too easily. We were approaching along a gully on the west side of the map with a raised section to our right.We couldn't climb it because he had that covered plus we made easy targets for others in his team so we had to remain low. I don't think it was team work,this guy just knew where to hole up.If I could remember where it was I would use it myself,but not in my M3 Lee obviously.

Didn't know that about the binos and turret thing Ajay; useful tip that. Had a lot of time wasting trying gunsight alignment on the target I spotted with my binos and end up getting what for up the wotsit by some sneaky Tiger or somesuch. Sneaky bastits.

While looking thru binos you can single click your left mouse button where you want your gun to point and your turret will turn to that point. Very nice feature.

I sussed that out by accident on day one the binos came out... I pressed the fire button when looking through the binos because I thought I was looking through the gunners sight!... silly me!
