So with the announcement of the Tomcat, I figured now was a good time to revisit who's-making-what, as I know several projects have been confirmed, and several dropped over the past year or so: (does not include Aircraft currently released/in beta) Player Flyable AircraftED First Party:-L-39 -F/A-18C -P-47 -Spitfire -ME-262 Razbam-Mirage 2000 -T-2 Buckeye VEAO:-Eurofighter Typhoon -Ha-1112 -F4F Wildcat -F8F Bearcat -P-40F -Vampire FB5 -Meteor F3 -Spitfire Mk XIV A whole lotta other proposed aircraft here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=127100Belsimtek: -AH-1W (is this confirmed?) -Mi-24P Leatherneck: -Some western swing-wing thing. (a Tonka I think?) Coretex -F/A-18E (has this been suspended? I thought I heard the dev wasn't able to put time toward this anymore) Presumed Canceled until further notice. Maps:ED First Party: -Nevada -Strait of Hormuz -Normandy Leatherneck:-Confirmed but Unknown Map to accompany Tonka Tomcat Launch Anything I'm forgetting?

The T-2 is suspended awaiting the DCS carrier ops overhaul. Is the Me-262 confirmed? Last I heard it'd been bumped down to a "maybe" after the RRG fiasco. BST also has an Mi-24P announced. My responses, in order: -Makes sense -Maybe? -Yay!

This is the last statement I remember regarding the Me 262: Other features like the Me.262A-1 and AI-only B-17G are also in development we but do not have a delivery data estimate at this time until these other features are further along. It has been pushed back but there is nothing indicating that it's been cancelled.

F-18E development was suspended by CTD, as their lead developer took a personal life job promotion.
Estimate time for resuming development was not given.
Until otherwise stated, I'd mark it as cancelled.

I'll see if I can find it. -Edit: After some searching, I can't find that post. Perhaps I read it wrong, it was written wrong and was edited, or maybe I had a few too much Woodford at the time and really remember it wrong!

VEAO is also doing the Wildcat coming this year. Thanks, added to the list! F-18E development was suspended by CTD, as their lead developer took a personal life job promotion.
Estimate time for resuming development was not given.
Until otherwise stated, I'd mark it as cancelled. Done, thanks for the sit-rep! Regarding the 262, I changed it back to just being listed. If someone can confirm it's now a "maybe", I'll change back. well we have a very good topic uptodate by silver_dragon Roadmap His is very extensive, but is tough to follow due to confusing formatting and being stuffed with a lot of AI aircraft. Plus he has a ton of "released" items, where as I'm sticking to "In active development and pre-release" projects. Once something is released (including consumer facing open beta), it falls off the list. Finally, I'm posting my thread at the greatest sim forum on earth I personally feel that my thread is differentiated enough to warrant it's existence along side his.

I appreciate the list here you've created, gives us a good sense of anticipation plus perspective. Quite interested in quite a few of these aircraft myself. However, you know what I'm really interested in finding out? I'm more interested in what maps these aircraft are going to fly within. I hardly see anything about the maps anymore.
Does anyone know if a Korean map is in the works by anybody? How about Channel map for the WW2 stuff? I know Nevada is coming and the Straights of Hormuz. Anyway, sorry for the thread hijacking. I'm happy to add maps. To my knowledge, Straight of Hormez and Nevada are in play. Anyone know of any confirmed third party maps besides LN's "Mystery turkey map" that I didn't list?
