Loft was 777, IIRC he was there at NeoQB before 777 bought them

Well that is certainly interesting, it would seem Loft is the one calling all of the shots for BOS.

Funny the amount of speculation going on in this thread. All of these assumptions will be the basis for the next thread where people will spend a ridiculous amount of time discussing things they supposedly hate.

...even funnier, no one bothers to just ask them the questions themselves. They'd rather continue knitting and gossiping in the sewing circle.

Would a straight truthful answer be given?

There was only 16 squadrons of RAF fighters that used 100 octane during the BoB.
The Fw190A could not fly with the outer cannon removed.
There was no Fw190A-8s flying with the JGs in 1945.

More straight and truthful than anything I've seen posted here, that's for sure.

What has not been explained (and likely never will be) is why the 1C partnership took a turn away from the ROF structure under 777. Why instead of doing as Jason says is he now "a vote" the same as Jason?? confused

Even assuming Loft was the #1 guy in Moscow, but #2 in 777, why in the world did he get equal footing in 1CGS?? That makes no sense. To be both an equal and a subordinate in any company is going to make things really confusing, and unless Loft invested in 1CGS equally it has no logical reason. If he did, which begs the question "why did he?", it was probably THE bad decision from which all the other have flowed since the beginning of BoS.

You don't make the vice president a co-president. You don't have two QB's on the field at once. You don't EVER screw with the chain-of-command in a military. To have a "board" that votes on aspects of the design for the game is one thing, to have those members with equal weight be subordinates of others is ridiculous.

I wonder if Loft didn't have 1C connections that were why this happened in the first place, and his elevation to equal was part of the deal? If so, it would explain a lot. However, it doesn't mean he should be there. There are some really great generals in history that were/would've been lousy national leaders. If Loft was another general seeking the highest office in the land, I think he's proven himself unequal to the task.

Wasn't Loft the main guy in ROF's early development, and Jason bought into the franchise later. I think Jason runs the business side of 777Studios, and Loft the development side, where they are both beholding to IC's financing of BOS. I don't know the balance of power between Loft and Jason in 777Studios, but Loft could probably garner more support in IC than Jason could.

I'm thinking that's why he was more pull in BoS than in ROF as well, which is evidently a shame because it appears he knows how to execute ideas well...he just doesn't come up with good ones and is not easily persuaded of that either.
