I'm betting that, given his background as both a pilot and a flight instructor, he has likely done his homework on the handling characteristics of this kite. What an ambitious project, and wouldn't a field trip to see it be a fine outing! Thanks for posting the link Shredward.

Awesome! Hope he remembers to retrieve the dash clock if he is forced down behind enemy lines!  Cute! I know William Barker tried to keep his for a souvenir but they chased him down and made him give it back!! Those British Brass Hats have no sense of leniency for an outstanding pilot it seems!
