If they made some more templates for it and called it a random mission generator, like the UQMG from IL2 days, they could provide some more content for us SP guys.
Cloyd Was that the one made by a fellow called Demon? His was great, could generate entire battlefield scenarios. Really all I needed.

He was a beta tester for the original IL2. He's the author of IL2Loader which allowed flying AI planes (from outside view), and The Uberdemon Quick Mission Generator. He's still active today, you can find him at SAS.

Crazy Schmidt had a nice mission generator too. Mission Mate. Something like either one would be great.. but I think the UQMG was more powerful...
Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.

Seems to be fixed now, your pilot level is back where it was. Not that I think it makes a smick of discernable difference. I just flew a Level 7 He111 campaign mission. Not intercepted. Zero enemy aircraft. One random flight of friendly fighters crossed our paths. AAA benign.
AI skill and difficulty is supposed to improve as pilot level increases. I don't see it. Not in bombers/ground attack missions anyway. Maybe it is noticeable if you are flying fighters?
H That's good to know, I might try it in a little while. I've not noticed any increase in skill either, the aircraft all perform the same kind of defensive manoeuvre's and sequences to engage. Like the rest of the mission parameters it all still feels too much like a cookie cutter mission with a low number of parameters. They really need to add some more templates in to freshen it up and give a little more variety, it might just stave off the boredom of playing through the campaign a little.

That looks interesting. Most sims nowadays have given short shrift to debriefs/post mission analysis. Il-2 thru 1946 was miserable at that. Just a meaningless score (based on engine count).
One of the best I ever saw was MPS' F-19. A map with a position drawn on it and events superimposed as they happened. 19:00 Takeoff 19:24 MiG-29 takeoff from Bandar Abbas 20:11 Detected by SA-10 20:15 Fired AGM-65 at patrol boat 20:16 Patrol boat destroyed 20:17 MiG-29 fired AA-10 20:18 MiG-31 takeoff from Bandar Abbas
Yes, some others have given us this list format, but none with the moving map and little popups. It helped you relive all the highlights from the mission without requiring a space-consuming and/or unreliable tracking file.

I had to send a Support ticket , they finally got mine unlocked and corrected.
Totally agree on the old quick mission builder from il2 ! It was the Gold Standard !
