Added chevrons to pad schematics to indicate direction player should face when landing That should save new players some grief.

Played a bit last night (yep, that's the cause for temporarily lack of Italian WWII AAR :P ) and I had the best time in a long while. Improved all over, lots more polish, shiny and bang. Literally. Also Class two Cannons have FINALLY a new model and they kick hard as a mule! Two Class 2 Cannons and 2 Class 1 cannons mounted on my Cobra "Wolfram" and I made short work of a Master Python without getting ANY damage. Plus city lights in dark side of planets are to cry for... Plus parallax for clouds on planets... Plus... Seriously, faith in humanity partially restored. Next Months are going to prove critical. Should they manage to keep this good pace I'm all confident.

Seriously, the pace of development is impressive, this seems like a well managed project. More importantly, people are craving something like this. I've held off on playing much, but it's starting to look like time to jump in.

Im just waiting for the march update to improve coop. +1. That will be just great- Also the last newsletter shown the biggest player flayble ship. The Corvette! Just imagine- that with a complement of two eagles in the internal hangar (an item rumored and confirmed). Can't. Wait.

Type nine and anaconda are pulling some serious g's which makes me raise an eyebrow over structural integrity. Big shops realistically should manoeuvre a lot less

Agreed, right now there's no real sense of scale. When I fight an Anaconda or a Sidewinder they're very similar other than their hull integrity.
I'd also like to see a lot more fleet organization and action. Earth shouldn't be the same as a bumpoop system next to nowhere, there should be organized task forces, multi-ship police patrols, merchant convoys, etc. It all feels like a light smattering of individuals right now. Not to poopoo on Elite as I've enjoyed it quite a bit since release, but there's still a whole lot of work to be done to simulate a living galaxy.
