Hi Folks,
I'm working on a little project set in the Battle of Britain. I have a number of popular accounts, but am actually having a hard time finding statistical and technical data.

Specifically I'm interested in
- success rates of interception vs raids of various composition, and ratio of raids that were actually damaged vs forced to turn back.

- the precision and damage caused by raids of various types, especially when correlated with weather conditions.

- the repair rates of transit, supply, airfields and planes for both sides. Also, downed pilot recovery rates.

- further details on radar uptimes, effectiveness, false reports and response times, and repair times for CH and CHL stations.

All pretty dry stuff, so maybe I should start looking in academic journals. Any suggestions?

This might be of some help,
http://www.battleofbritain1940.net/

There was only 16 squadrons of RAF fighters that used 100 octane during the BoB.
The Fw190A could not fly with the outer cannon removed.
There was no Fw190A-8s flying with the JGs in 1945.

Go to A2A forums where the BoB Developers group still lives and ask there. The BoB enthusiasts there are rarely without an answer or a good source.

What's the project?

For all my BoB sim projects I use these

There is some stuff that might be of interest re radar in 'BRITAIN'S SHIELD, RADAR AND THE DEFEAT OF THE lUFTWAFFE' by David Zimmerman ISBN978-4456-0061-1 but it's tucked away and not loads of tables with the data you are looking for- can't say I've ever seen anything like this layed out anywhere.
Good luck
