I think that everyone who bought into early access.. standard or premium should have unlocks for free if indeed paying for them is the way that they chose to go. Every early access person who dropped coin had faith in the project and also got to experience the sim without locked content. This has accounted fore much of the emotion surrounding he issue. It is moot to me personally .. I have unlocked most content... but I still think that all founders whether gold or silver should receive a way of unlocking all content for free and moving forwards this methodology needs to be scrapped and never revisited.

I think everyone that bought the game regardless of price or when, should get to play the game without unlocks, period.

If the price stays the same, then yeah sure. Anyone paying the 99.99 today just doesn't get a gold bar. They did not participate in the EA testing, debugging, stress test and whatnot.

Well I'd like to see unlocks gone altogether if you want to go there... but that may be problematic. Folks who bought BoS after it was released knew about the unlocks... Those who were founders did not expect it top be like it was... Hence my post.

What I would like to see announced :

Unlocks - gone ( with exception of cheap Russian version).
Custom graphic settings - restored as additional option over and above the presets
SP Campaign - revised to be more historical as originally planned.
Mission Editor release date along with description of tweaks that were done to improve it and what we can expect from it.

I think they would pull back in a lot of guys that left BOS if they were to do this.

Somehow though, I think this is going to be nothing more than wishful thinking on my part.

The trouble is BC is that then we would have a tier system.
You would still have the same problems for 'the select' and 'the others'...
Player A has access to all the bomb loads, weapon sets etc, and player B doesn't... in effect the unlock system is still creating problems, regardless of the lucky ones.

Yeah but that's a different scenario because anyone who bought BoS after it was released knew what they were buying. Truth be told the unlocks while a PTA are not the "You slept with my sister so now I have to kill you" Tony Montana deal that some make it out to be...



I'd like to see all that as well.. but to tell the truth...,. the campaign issues become moot if the unlocks are done away with. I guarantee you that once the ME is released we will see far better everything mission wise than the team can dream up.

Announcement for the dream patch

1. We sacked the whole team.
2. We are remaking the game with people who know what they are doing.
3. This time when we say the main game is focused on SP, we mean it.
4. No unlocks....those where stupid to begin with.
5. Historic markings, missions, and squadrons all around.
6. With our new engine we will support OR, dynamic campaigns, and a real FMB.
7. Custom graphics settings.
8. Custom campaign settings.
9. No more shady tactics to make people think our game is good. It will sell, or wont, on its own merits.
10. We are also giving Team Fusion the code for CLoD. Since we know the only reason it is still selling and played is because of modders, not us.
11. Release date for BoS 2.0 unknown, but at least its better than the crap we spit out 2 months ago.
