Now we're cooking with bacon!

Oh I dunno. I'd much rather suck down some tasty bacon instead of a gallon of no-lead. smile

If we had eggs, we could have bacon and eggs, if we had bacon.

Just an update for anyone interested.

I have been beta testing this for months and it is looking VERY good so far.

Anyone into this sim and jet is gonna LOVE what FSX@War brings to the table.

Given we're now 4 years out from that first post, I do very much appreciate the update!

Is it possible to join in on the beta? If not, any clue as to when this will make a public debut?

A release candidate is coming shortly if all goes well, for the first component, the Carrier and Convoy Planner, followed by the war engine. The CCP will provide the tools to create vehicle convoys and carrier task forces and permit online fliers to all start on the carrier.

Very cool! Looking forward to it.

A shame though that we have an excellent french dev team working on all the carrier ops, and yet no decent rafale package to fly with. frown

the carrier and convoy planner is now available smile

Quote:

- In your own way and according to the missions you decide to develop, land and sea convoys. Merchant ships or war ships, friends or foes, destroy or protect, defensless or able to defend themselves, to fight back. You will need to stop the threatening convoys of military vehicles that push on the rural roads in the outskirts of cities in hostile territory.

- Both static and/or moving targets to exercise your Fighter Pilot, Navigator, the Weapons System Operator talents or air controller aboard AWACS for example.

- More than ever radar, FLIR and all the avionics mastering will be essential assets during your missions.

- Once again, in Single or Multiplayer from Allied Air Bases, but also from a moving aircraft carrier at sea, with air refueling tankers, you can practice your tactician skills and you will need to remain alert to avoid becoming a target yourself!

When and if they implement this with a fully (or almost fully) working F-35, I'll be definitely in! smile

Doesn't Dino have a TacPac enabled F-35?

Yes, I read something about that but also from what I read Dino's F-35 doesn't have the air-to-ground radar modes and FLIR modeled. But I could be wrong though?

I'm sure the FSX@WAR CCP application is great but it did not see that my FSX is installed to the D: drive in my system so they need to work a bit on the installer also. If the installer don't find your FSX folders it will not install the objects needed. And the support forum is in French :P
