I think I am going to have to move to PWCG sooner rather than later, still flying a beta career and just completed another mission, that ended like the two previous ones I have flown, no enemy ai anywhere near my flight zone.

PWCG is where it is at, Don. I got a decent amount of enjoyment out of the beta career, but Pat's program really ups the ante. The aerial activity and behavior of the enemy flights seems much more realistic to me. If you will indulge me:

In one mission I was flying a line patrol with my flight. Along our flight path I was able to see distant flights carrying out many varied missions. Some were defending observation balloons, there were recon planes headed out across the lines. Near our furthest waypoint we jumped an enemy flight for a good scrap. Low on altitude, ammunition, and compatriots, I turned and headed for home. Sneaking along by myself I was able to watch as several other flights tangled and the whole flight home I was hoping that they wouldnt see me and I would be able to make it back safely. The whole experience was impressive. This experience has been the norm, not the exception. I hope you will give PWCG a shot!

Sounds very nice, much more immersive than what I am seeing in the beta career, completed yet another mission a little while ago with no enemy aircraft...

I have both PWCG and the GUI for it installed now, going to try and get a little sleep and hopefully delve into it later in the day. Sounds like a good way to start off the New Year to me.
I just have to get my arms wrapped around setting a campaign up in it now.

Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate the encouragement!

Loft say because statistically few users play that campaign...

Could you publish the link were Loft did posted that comment.

I know PWCG isn't compatible with BoS, but Jason did say that all the info is available at request if anyone capable is willing to give it a shot, just that PW isn't interested in doing it.

It would be awesome if a computer genius could port it over to the BoS engine, surely it would be a lot easier than starting from scratch although I have no idea about how much work would be involved in doing so though.

I think it is time for Albert to trade places and let Jason take over the design responsibilities of the game environment around the core plane models and FM's in BoS. Albert appears to be great at running the programming backroom based on the core features in BoS, but I think Jason would do a much better job in the design of single player and multi-player content as well as user interface options such as Custom Graphics and difficulty settings. With Jason in the role of creative content director and Albert in the role of "maker" I'll bet BoS could be first rate.

And just as a level set:

"IL-2 1946" designed by Oleg Maddox of 1CMG
Current Metacritic User Score: 8.8

BoS clearly needs help in its creative direction.

+100% Bucksnort !

As far as I'm Concerned the problem with BOS is that Jason and 777 seem to not have the final say !
From where I sit the 1C side is behind all these issues.

I really feel Bad for Jason because he seems to not have any real control over this project's direction.

I Truly hope that in the Future, if Jason and 777 are in a contract with a joint venture on anything , that he and 777 have the final say on things and the direction it goes.

I know I personally will not support a future project without that being made very clear at the start.
