I should be all excited about tomorrow's game, but there is an undercurrent of unease in my psyche that I cannot deny.
I am getting old, very old, and I wonder if I will ever see another Green Bay Super Bowl win? Tomorrow's game should be a corker, but which way will the chips fall? Aaah, the vicissitudes of of life, the problems/concerns of the First World!
I would ask all of you (except for the Heathens who live in Texas) to say a Prayer for me, and for the Green Bay Packers, the finest, most egalitarian, and most deserving franchise in the NFL!
Thank you.

What you talking bout Willis, they won the 2010 superbowl a few years back. Even if they don't win the superbowl they tend to kick ass in the playoffs regularly regardless And I agree, there's quite a few sleazy or felon loving teams out there, but the locally owned Packers have always been the "good guys" in WI. Our players get out there and visit schools, charities, etc and if anyone were to be a career douche bag they'd be out on their ass in a heartbeat. I don't know if they'll go all the way this year, but like the Cowboys for a regularly injured quarterback they've gone a lot farther than I thought they would.

Don't get me started.. I'm still pissed off about the great robbery last week.
The officials did not make 3 calls.. that very well could have turned the tide of that game.. or I should say did change the tide of the game because those 3 blown calls shifted the momentum to Dallas. As an ex Bronx boy living in the DMV with both parents hailing from Pittsburgh my dislike of Dallas runs very deep.
Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.

I think it is important to keep a reasonable perspective on things, while starving children certainly need our attention, we are talking NFL here. Maybe I am wrong, maybe the NFL doesn't mean anything anymore, but if that is the case, this country is truly lost.

I'll root for anyone but the NE patriots
Well, that didn't work out too well, now did it? But what a good game that was! As if to make my point, that final Hail Mary by Flacco could have turned the game again at the last second.

Thank you. How can a Minnesotan root for the despised cheeseheads? Traitor! Turncoat! You have no honor, sir. To my last dying breath, I will cheer for whichever team happens to be playing the Packers. And that's hard this weekend because I hate the Cowboys almost as much as I hate the Packers. Skol Vikings! Skol Vikings forever!

Rodgers hasn't been 100% either lately, I expect him to be less mobile than usual again. For having a broken back Romo has been great this season.

By rule it was not. He did not complete the process of catching it. You must control the ball through out the entire catching process while going to the ground. In this instance he caught it and the while falling to the ground he lost it when the ball hit the ground.
So by rule the call was correct, However I fully believe the rule needs to be more black and white. You could put a different officiating crew in and get a different result. Also if Dez secures the ball instead of tries to score its first and goal.

If he had reached out (more) towards the goal line it would've been ruled a catch, as they explained. Still sounds like BS to me, even if supported by the book. Still, I like GB if the boys can't go on.

Smartass remark was required since you made me look up definition of "egalitarian"..
Signed,
I'll root for anyone but the NE patriots I never put ten bucks down on starving or dying kids, so the prayers go for football teams instead.
The opinions of this poster are largely based on facts and portray a possible version of the actual events. More dumb stuff at http://www.darts-page.comFrom Laser: "The forum is the place where combat (real time) flight simulator fans come to play turn based strategy combat."
