Is the DLC easy to use/ready to go? Any kind of weird scripting that has to be done to use its features? And it is very cool set up.

I would love to hear the troop's comments when presented with their new ride

.. or the CO replies

"No problem troops! A second ship will follow with your rucksacks and the extra ammo... and supplies!"
"What do you mean fairground attraction and sitting ducks?"
"Who shot the tires?"

I would like to ride one though.

Remember to not sass the pilot or he might "accidentally" hit the cargo release.

Sent my troops to assault the hill..ordered them to take-over a left over vehicle, and decided to sling load it back to my base.. <g> Some people take patches and guns as war trophies..I take whole vehicles.. <g>

Does it have the same HUD as Take On Helicopters?

I think it might..I dunno, I don't use that HUD bar thingy... If you chose to, I think you can have it up at all times:




Well, I just bought it and it downloaded and installed. The missions that come with the DLC aren't the greatest. I mean, they show off some of the new stuff you can do with the DLC, but they aren't really complex or epic or anything. But they are fun, and in my opinion, nothing beats Arma 3 for the feel of low level helicopter flight.

Anyway - no scripting, and you can download better missions from the Arma 3 Steam Workshop. It is integrated nicely and many of the missions don't require any other mods or anything...
