5555, I guess it is a weird problem... if you can be bothered, maybe setup a separate WinXP OS boot and try install AF there. If that still doesn't launch, it's mostly likely to be some hardware's fault.

On the other hand, do you have a BFOpslog.txt in the FalconAF directory... it might contain some helpful log info.

ProcessMonitor and other sysinternals tools use low-level stuff at runtime that may have set off an anti-virus or something similar. I assure you they are completely benign and have no lasting effects.

I first wish all of have commented on my ongoing Win7 setup much appreciation.

On 31 December, I uninstalled Falcon AFS and then deleted any folder found related to that installation. The system was rebooted.

I then reinstalled the program, including the Cockpit NL and HiTiles setups as well as various PMC Theaters.

The program LAUNCHES and had LAUNCH REPEATEDLY for the past two days. Whilst it only appears to support 1280 (x32) as the maximum graphic level. Has this feature even been updated to a higher resolution.

I am presently at 1.01. I have tried the update BFO link, but it fails to install 1.06, failing at File 36. Is there a reason for this failure? Is there another location for AF updates. A lead would be appreciated after this most frustrating effort.

I would install Falcon:AF, then patch to the latest 1.0.13
"Patches are cumulative - you only need the latest one (1.0.13 as of now)"

http://www.lead-pursuit.com/downloads.htm

then test if all is up and running and then install addons/mods.

If F:AF won't start it can be a codec problem, so check there:

number 11, and append the "-nomovie" paramter.
