Seriously,have you guys followed this up ? all the backstage drama, and inflated ego, hell if sony has any balls they can make the movie themselves.

What is sad about all this, is amy pascal will problably be the scapegoat to all this, and it can see her desperation in the emails leaked, that she is doing everthing she can and the company is still sinking. Also while this is pratice in every company,now actors and directors will problably avoid them.

Call me a cynic but could this be a hyped up situation blown out of proportion by Sony.
I have no doubt Sony was hacked but just maybe somebody sees a opportunity to make a killing if they ever do release the Movie. I forget who said it, But as they say there's no such thing as bad publicity you couldn't buy the publicity Sony have Received From The press from this world wide

I dont think so marko, they canceled the interview, its going the same way of the ET game, buried and forgotten, that is a investment they will never recover, imagine doing a movie and not ever showing it, plus it made a horrible precedent, they ceded to cyber terrorrist request,and said terrorist may not even honor their word and continue to release the worse material yet.


Also due to public opinion if they dont sign a deal with marvel for spider-man, they will be torched alive.
So the company is in really heavy waters right now

Just seen a news clip on the subject the head of Sony studio is saying they did not pull the movie.
He is blaming the movie theatres for Refusing to screen it.
The FBI have confirmed it was a north Korea hacker who hacked the Sony database,
For me now its a mater of principle to watch even if its crap,(screw that little tin pot dictator.)
The head of Sony studio's has not ruled out releasing the movie via other outlets probably DVD or maybe even Netflix.

Personally I would like to see it streamed for free on YouTube and translated in to many languages especially Korean.
Why, Because if we let the bully win what's next ISIS telling us we cant watch a certain movie because it offends them.

I feel they sort of backtracked on their statement on not releasing the film when Obama called them out. But maybe that's just me. Just release it online somehow and monetize the stream and they might make a few dollars of it. Then no psycho can feel inspired by the threats and shoot up a theater and everybody can watch it from home. The interview is now one of the more talked about movies, release it before that "hype" dies down.
