Greetings

Due to a system crash I had to reinstall Win7.
After I was back in business, my first intention was to get WOFF2 back on my HD.
Installing WOFF1 and the Fokker Scourge was really no problem.
But soon the problems started with the skin pack. i couldn´t unpack the files without error messages....
Well so i continued to install the expansion pack 2 Which luckily wasn´t packed anymore on my external drive. So I hit the installer, but after the first quater it finished and screwed my wgole WOFF installation.
Any solutions? I guess the link for WOFF2 expansion should still work at avantgate. but due to the loss of all my E-mails I don´t knwo where to look for it.
Any Help would be highly appreciated!

Sounds like you have Avast!, Norton or MSE anti virus installed see the FAQ.
They can mess with installs, Norton especially likes to mangle the the skins pack install as they try to scan/mangle a 1GB exe...

Check out sections 7) and 17) and 24) in the FAQ please at least.

You also could have drive or disk errors. Go to the drive properties, tools, and check your disk for errors.

Will move this to technical for now...

Thanks. I will check that.
I use AntiVir. Have ver used without any trouble regarding WOFF.
I did not uninstall with the toolbox. I just deleted the OBD folder. Will this cause problems?

It can. Just to be safe, I'd uninstall from the toolbox, then delete the remaining WOFF folder. Then re-install.

Where is the toolbox located? I've allready deleted the whole OBD folder.
Any good advice to prevent trouble with reinstalling?

Regarding the skinpack. The unpack process stops after 500mb.
Even on my laptop. I guess the file is screwed.
Once I've gott WOFF running again I nedd to purchase it again. frown
Does it matter in which order the skinpack and fokker scourge are installed? Can I install them on top of V2 or do they need to be installed upon V1?

OK. Yes the sections I said in FAQ will help you. Includes using toolbox.
Yes if you manually deleted the whole folder it will not be there anymore wink

Not to rub salt on your wound but I kinda had the same issue with a lost add-on.
Once you get a download or add-on back it up on a CD or DVD so you always have it for any future disaster.
Good luck!

Thank god disabeling AntiVir did the trick and I could finally install V2.
Sadly the skinpack is still corrupted and I can't unpack it. not with 7zip nor Winrar.
Not on my PC or notebook.

Bloodawn when you send the email with order number etc, then you get a new link I'd suggest disabling the AV before download is complete, unpack, install, then move the zip to a new OFFLINE place (DVD would be best) then enable AV.
