Wow, those screenies look fantastic. I gotta know what mods you're running.

"A week or even a month for someone basically saying "shucks, this is pants" maybe. But their banhammer only has the forever setting. Gotta set phasers to stun for the localization of female undergarments, not kill yo." - Frederf

Alright. I'll have to see if I can get this set up.

Wonderful shots; mine doesn't look like that but am still enjoying 'the old girl' flying on the S.A.S server using UP3.
Always thought that Maddox Games instead of the debacle of CloD should of just bunged the talented and dedicated mod community a few quid and released their work as a next generation IL2.

September 1944 a large taskforce is steaming towards a small unheard of island chain in the pacific.
The seas are calm, however a storm is gathering!

The sky's been swept clear of nearly all enemy!

They withdrew for home defence!

Our new generation of fighter planes made sure of that!

All ready to arm!

Its September 15th 6am and the battle for Peleliu has begun, it lasted 2 month and was the bloodiest af all battels in the pacific during WW2!

Observation PBY on its way!

First wave airborne!

We are next, this thing better works!!

Off we go!

Follow the leader!

Ingres coming up, water spouts from naval shells!
Peleliu airfield under intense bombardment!

The anti aircraft batteries at Umurbrogol Mountain are still firing, our target!

On the attack run!

Bombs away!

Napalm!

We where lucky!

He wasn't

Time to bail!

On the down wind!

On final flaps arrestor and gear down, cross your toe's and hold your breath!

All our wing made it safely back!

The attack on Peleliu was a controversial battle because of the island's questionable strategic value and the high casualty rate, which exceeded all other amphibious operations during the Pacific War.

Carrier Battle for Midway island

While IJN planes pummel Midway, these guys turned up!

Bullseye!

Not much opposition!

They are going down slowly!

Last one!

Between 4th and 7th June 1942 the Battle for Midway island raged, Military historians called it "the most stunning and decisive blow in the history of naval warfare. It was Japan's first naval defeat since the Battle of Shimonoseki Straits in 1863. The IJN lost 4 Aircraft carriers, 250 planes, and more then 3000 personel.

Meanwhile operation Barbarossa is rolling up the Russian airforce near Smolensk!

Morning surprise? ME 109E7 enroute!

Escorting the E's!

All quiet!

Egress turn!

Bombs away!

First victims!

Pe2 scrambling at the far side of the field?

2nd PE2 airborne!

No quarters given!

Meanwhile!!

Struggle to survive?

On the 6!

Bitter end!

Not all went well for the Luftwaffe!

Behind enemy lines!

Homebound!

On final!

On June 22, 1941, Germany launched its armies eastwards, in a massive invasion of the Soviet Union: Three great army groups with over three million German soldiers, 150 divisions, 2500 airplanes, and three thousand tanks smashed across the frontier into Soviet territory, the largest military ground operation in history has begun.

Beautiful screens! I see the mods you listed but I would like to know what campaigns you are using.

Is it Dgen campaigns or user made ones?

Hi none are D gen they are made up or modified missions, I usually add some content mostly ground stuff, to fill the rather bland background that D gen missions have, the stuff is all in game you just have to add it by editor. cheers

Far north in the artic ocean, a large allied convoy heading for Murmansk!

Quietly steaming along!

They are not alone!

Meanwhile at Tromso airbase!

Forming up!

Settling in for a long flight!

Nearly there!

Egress!

The escorts waking up!

All, man the battle stations!

Guns blazing, to late the torpedo's are in the water!

The first strike!

Another!

Still many in the water!

The aftermath!

Keep moving no stopping!

RTB!

The invasion of Russia led to the introduction of the Russian or Arctic convoys with their dreadful conditions and high losses in men and ships, summer and winter routes were close to German bases in Norway from which U-boats, aircraft and surface ships could operate!

Cheers
Walt
