I just installed 2.0 version and patched to 2.01. Track IR 4 headset with 5.0 software works on my desktop but not within WOFF. Any suggestions?

I had the same, it is indeed: do what is written down in the link and restart your PC.

Yep, it's the "game updates" download in Track IR, along with unplugging then plugging in your controls, that will resolve this.

Thanks for the quick response guys. I reinstalled version (5.2.2) even though I was already running that and unplugged and restarted multiple times with no change. My computer is not connected to the internet so I have to bring it into work so that I can update the TrackIR game profile as a next step unless there is a way for me to download the game profiles onto a flash drive and transfer them over to my gaming rig.

A PC not connected to the internet? I never knew such a thing existed anymore.

I live rurally and internet is tough to get on the cheap. I'd have to buy a wireless card to access the internet "HotSpot" on my phone. I get charged for data so any large downloads I do at work and transfer on a flash drive. That works for most things but when it comes to downloading games off Steam for example, I haul my computer to work a few times a year and do my updates there.

Yeah we can't help with poor internet ;), but part of the fix is the "game updates" download in Track IR.

I know, Shiloh. My parents live rurally and do the hot spot thing. I was just being cheeky. Hopefully someday soon, you'll be able to get affordable broadband out in the sticks.

I knew where you were coming from Slick. We have fiber-optic in the works but it may be a few more years. I live in a beautiful area with scenic views, rivers, farms, etc and a lot of artists/creative types make a home here. It is however really tough for people to grow businesses here and our schools suffer as adults who count on high-speed internet for work from home simply can't raise a family here. Fortunately I live at 1,800 ft. and get a good cell signal and I also have a large antenna that gets me free TV so it's not all bad.

And thanks Pol. The OBD team are wizards but you can't help with every problem. The sim is looking wonderful with 2.0 and I can't wait to get flying. Once you've had TrackIR you can't go back so I'll be grounded until I get this updated.

EDIT: These are too old though. So you need to use the on-line TrackiR Game update method as above, or find someone who will send them to you I guess.

Downloading the game update files was the fix. Thanks to all for your quick support. WOFF 2.0 looks amazing and I spent a few hours last night attacking Gothas with Pups an they are certainly a tough lot to take down with their massive size, and multiple gunners. It's like trying to take down an angry elephant with a dart gun.

Great Shiloh yeah staying alive v 2 seaters often is an art. Best to attack in force or try to pick off a straggler etc, and when you are flying along at 100 mph make sure it's not directly at them - otherwise you are pretty much a still target for the gunner. Slash across change direction. (coming from underneath no longer a good idea v Gotha ;)).

Shiloh let me make a suggestion after you update TIR. Check the RoF forums and download Requiem's June 2014 profile. Once you get it active in TIR check the Exclusive box, that way game updates won't cripple TIR. You're essentially telling TIR not to look for game specific profiles. I use Requiem's profile offline in WOFF, DCS, IL2 1946, and online in BOS and CoD.

My TrackIR5 isn't working anymore, also.
Version 5.2.200 Final, Game Updates 20111116 (Update has 59KB, original File 63KB), reinstalled, unplugged/plugged, all several times - and it still doesn't work.
I noticed, that WOFF isn't listed in the Game Support Files (20111116 Nov 16th, 2011), though...
I don't really know, why I (apparently) get the wrong Support Files (I suppose, all of you have WOFF in the Game List of your TrackIR), because all the Links above lead to the 63.3KB Zip-File of 20111116 - and WOFF isn't in it, there...

Yeah that file is too old. You have to go online or ask someone for the files I guess.

Nevertheless I also informed Natural Point on that Issue. Might be helpful for others running Island-Systems (Outdoor-Fans, Highlanders and Nuclear Power Plants )

Okay, Problem solved. I just managed to spin a few Rounds in the new E4, but man, what a difference :-)

You were absolutely right - the Download-File is too old. As long as Natural Point does not update this, Offliners have to get the .sgl Files elsewhere.

In what thread is the profile posted? Always willing to give something new a try.
