You might want to create an alternate version that'll take 6mm glass - that's a common thickness of acrylic in the US. A quick search didn't locate any 5mm sources in the US.

Can easily reedit the model and put it up as 6mm :)Also done now is the mount that attaches it to the Panel outrigger bracket.

*spits coffee*

I should've expected this. biggrin

How high is the lettering? I've got a .25 J-Head that should do a good job on the lettering. I've ALSO got a pair of four position 30 degree detent rotary switches sitting on my desk. You beat me to it. smile

Printed engraving is a crapshoot. I printed a mag switch cover that was totally wrong dimensionally and the letter engraving didn't come out so well with my .40 nozzle.

If you're using SolidWorks, embossing text along a curve isn't that difficult. I've done it before (with some assistance). If you're interested, I can ping my SW guru and ask him to help me write up a tutorial on the process.

Yes I found that out with the UC indicator for the Spit. You will lose a bit of crispness with 3D printing.By engraving a bit deeper it makes the text come out a bit better for when you paint it.
