Excellent work, Spitty. Will you be putting out any Luftie pieces? I'm interested in a 109 gunsight.

Cheers,

Flying Colander

Yep its on the list LOL..Lenses will have to be resin cast in clear though as cost wise its too expensive for 3D printing. For a Spitfire type there are 4 lenses and the minimum cost is $85 each.. cuss

I think the mechanics of a Revi are a lot simpler than trying to work out how all the lenses move in a British one LOL... dizzy

Looking good, Spitty. Keep up the good work, mate.

I think f15sim is onto something. Some folk will want a museum quality replica gunsight, others just want an immersive replica. Maybe you can offer different prices for those you want a clear resin lenses and those who are willing to supply their own glassware and squint a bit.

Keep us posted.

Cheers,

FC

Actually I,m thinking of just having the standard designs up of the lenses but have the option of clear plastic or standard white so people can use them for masters to do their own resin casting.Lenses are difficult in their own right as if the curvature isn,t 100% accurate then distortions will occur.

Well done, Spitty. Good thing Christmas is coming up. When do you think you'll have the lens brackets ready?

Cheers,
