Wow! Great catch Magnum! Really looking forward to see how the Stryker's have evolved and I like the additional stuff they are including such as COLT and LNO teams, great stuff.
I read through it and didn't see the projected release date. You don't happen to know what that may be by chance?

Thanks Magnum. With the incorporation of 3.0 and not so distant future vehicles and next level tech, a definite buy for me.

Looks like I'll be getting backed into it. Loved shock force, even with all of its problems.
All right, sweethearts, what are you waiting for? Breakfast in bed? Another glorious day in the corps! A day in the Marine Corps is like a day on the farm. Every meal's a banquet! Every paycheck a fortune! Every formation a parade! I LOVE the corps!

Okay, has anyone tried this yet? As much as I like the bocage fighting of CMBN, I do like my tanky-tankys and shooty-shootys....
EDIT: Whoops, didn't realize it said pre-orders. Nevermind....

Did they fix the Artillery/CAS implementation from SF? That was my biggest gripe with SF. What exactly do you mean? EDIT: depending on what your question is, then yes, there have been several changes to the artillery/CAS interface: - Multiple units can be selected for a fire/air support mission.
- Only one mission at a time can be called in per spotter now (e.g., no more being able to call in a mortar strike on a treeline while simultaneously calling in another barrage on a village on the other side of the map).
- The precise ammunition levels for support assets is displayed (no more ambiguous multi-colored progress bars)
- Line of sight is no longer needed to call in helicopter support.
- Fire missions now are available for precision (i.e., laser-guided or GPS-guided) munitions.
- Line of sight is not needed for a fire mission if the spotter has a drone observing the targeted area.
Yes, the "Heavy/Medium/Light" options are still there for air support, but that's about the only thing that's left over from the original air support model. Pretty much everything else has been upgraded. There have been a lot of improvements to the engine since CMSF was first released.
