They'll have to starve the poor thing to death before she's really in the mood for a human. Anacondas can eat big things, but they usually don't. Linky That being said...
When you're feeling sad, just remember that somewhere in the world, there's someone pushing a door that says "pull".

Well, I was not aware of the anaconda's ability to do such things. Here is what appears to be video of an anaconda regurgitating an entire cow... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lQ0blb7WjsE

stupid show, I don't ever recall seeing any type of constricting snake ever eating it's prey alive. They constrict it till it's dead, then swallow it so it doesn't get harmed while the prey fights to get out.
I can't imagine that ever happening with large prey but I had pythons that occasionally I'd have to resort to feeding a bunch of mice to if rats were unavailable and they'd just snap them right up, fully alive. I've seen that, do you think it's different since your snakes are pets? Would they do that out in the wild?

They probably would if that's what was available for eating - mice were simply too small for them to constrict, imagine a snake the thickness of your thumb trying to constrict a spider...
