http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cir3w-wIx9U But looks like fun. I'm going to wind up with this on my PC, eventually, I think.

I think they really missed an opportunity. They should have sold a 250 dollar FPS package that comes with a pistol and a shotgun or soemthing. LTI on all handguns! It does look really good though and I cant wait to play it. Shhhh! It could still happen. Actually, I think folks who supported SC early enough got a special sidearm thrown in with their other stuff. I'm pretty sure I have one.

Yeah, they need to start putting out some high priced items for the fans to buy before the game comes out. Why haven't they done that yet?

The only TRUE Stealth crowd funded game.
Devs said there was stuff there, but you just couldn't see it.

They could sell FPS weapons for their real life equivalent price.
Want a shotgun? 300 bucks!

LOL That's right, it's a SIM, not some run of-the-mill arcade game using imaginary currency! The rivet counters wouldn't have it any other way. Real life prices and actual dollars add to the over all immersion of the game. Brilliant!

This game really interests me, more so than Elite, for some reason. The only thing that worries me is the possibility that this may all just be a bit too ambitious. Can they really do what they say they want to do? All of it. A galaxy so huge it will be almost impossible to see all of it? Many of the planets inhabited? A persistent universe? And we can all go anywhere in it that we wish. They certainly seem to have delivered on the graphics side of it. It's beautiful from what I can tell. But can you have such detail in a massive galaxy with hundreds of people on line at the same time without a server blowing up in a huge mushroom cloud? I can imagine immersing myself, completely, in this world. Losing myself in it if it's done right. It could be one of the greatest games of all time, really. But it seems like too much. Like something will need to be compromised. And I don't see how it can ever be finished!
