Devs have posted this, which seems to have helped many players - have not tried myself yet, just saw it today.

1. Update your Java

2. Turn off "Full Screen" option in game and use maximum native resolution (equal to windows desktop)

Thx, done both of the above by myself last weekend, CTD decreased from 2 in 3 to maybe 1 in 5 but still present. Hope they get their act together and come up with a real solution quickly.

1. wont be doing that as I do not have java installed
2. Will try this later on and see if it helps with the CTD problems

that's interesting how do you play other games that use JAVA JE controls? and watch videos?

I don't have Java installed either.Never had a problem watching videos or playing games. Maybe I'm just lucky I don't play games that need it.

I do not play java based games (Java is a HUGE security risk to your system)

Watch videos ? you mean in like a web browser .. no problems here, aint had java installed for like 6 years or more
