Nor are they greatest when you've had your volume up playing a game, close the game, open your browser, and get blasted by a commercial a few minutes later out of the blue. The video ads are awful.

I think maybe it's SimHQ's server that is possibly infected then. Here's a pic:

Notice how the video is playing right in the ad space square for SimHQ? It's not a pop up...it plays in the SimHQ ad space window. This video isn't through Viewster that I have in the pic...but the previous one was.

It only happens at SimHQ for me...no other sites have this issue.

Yeah, I get those ads too, on multiple systems, and the audio is very annoying. I check the site at work during breaks, and if I didn't use headphones at work, my co-workers would have gotten an earful of one of the ads. And since they're low on the page, it took me a while to figure out where it was coming from at first.

I get them at work (on a "secure" healthcare system network) and at home. So it is definitely not on our end. In the same box indicated by Force10. Firefox if it matters...

Yay! Thank you! (they're still there as of this post, but looking forward to their departure).

The viewster ads appear to be gone, but I'm still getting auto-play video ads, many with audio. It's a performance hit, and just downright annoying.

I turn off the audio on one, but later it starts, or of course if I just go to a different forum.

I'm still seeing video ads. They take up so much bandwidth that I can't even type messages fluidly, the buffering or something is causing pauses as I type...

I just had auto-audio ads, so they are still showing up. If someone could kindly kill them with fire, that would be amazing.

yes, I've just started getting these auto-play audio ads today in Chrome. There's not even a mute button - I literally have to turn my speakers off to stop them.
