Those freakin Viagra, Cialis, male enhancement commercials are so annoying. You get two popsicle sticks and put one on each side and then hold them in place with a few rubber bands and you're good to go ....you can save money on all those "male enhancement" pills.

I'm lame in the many games owned stakes, under ten games brought in the last four years Let me steal Bib4tunas signature here.. 1)Test games by demos and observation. 2)Sleep on those games that have possibly passed the test. 3)Reject the ones that fail. 4)Follow the evidence, wherever it leads, across all forums and tubes. 5)Question EVERYTHING! Don't catch hype trains. 6) Fork out money when more than 80% sure it isn't a pos in the same mould as most other games.

I buy titles and play them, and I've noticed I spend more time with a PS3 than a PC. I have about a dozen games on each that I play regularly. I have many more Steam titles that I've played through and don't play anymore.
I don't waste money on games I won't play and enjoy. ArmA 3 is 50% off right now and I won't buy it. Partially, because the community that surrounds it has some fans that are as hardcore about their sense of superiority as they are about military realism. I know it's not a game for me, though, so I won't buy it. Ever. I tried the first two and it didn't work.
I stopped buying Simbin stuff long ago. Not because their stuff was no good. It's phenomenal, but I already had enough stuff from them and it was clear I would merely be spending money for more of the same.
So, no I don't get the penchant for owning hundreds of titles. I barely have time for what I have now.

So.... does Mrs. Haggart has any issues with splinters? I suspect that rig never gets anywhere near Mrs. Haggart. As a matter of safety, Haggart, you should probably invest in good work gloves. Well, half a pair, at least...

I bought wasteland 2 on a whim recently to see if I might enjoy giving gaming a try, but didn't like it at all. Ah well.
Considering Arma3 but I didn't enjoy Amra2 (never got beyond the tutorial I will admit...way too clunky). I'll try the free weekend pass and see what I think.

Well i get floored on steam where some guy has like 300 or 400 games in their library. Thing is, they have had a steam account for like 2 or 3 years. How on earth does that work? I do buy fewer and fewer games it seems each year. Although this can spike where I might 2 or 3 a month now and then. But using steam as an example. 9 years been buying crap on there. And in that time where sitting on the low end of 70 games. With another 20 or so bought off of gamer gate. Maybe another 20 bought off store shelves since about 2005. With of course a hell of a lot more bought of shelves before that. I have a BUNCH of games I have not finished for various reasons. At some point things like Mafia II, whatever the last hitman was, and witcher II I will finish. Some, ya, lemons they sucked. But I have no clue why some folks buy an insane number of games and play for like 1 or 2 hours and drop it. Even good games. Just something wrong with their hunter gather gene or something. As for the sub not getting up. Usually an indicator that something is vary wrong with blood pressure and circulatory system. With a decent diet, normal (read minimal) exercise, and no weird heredity issues the sub should be surfacing for quite some time with out chemical help after your young stud years. Makes sense, your about to drop dead from a heart attack the body should not be worrying about making new you's that you'll be dead to raise. If dealt with early enough should be 100 percent reversible perhaps with a simple diet change and walking your block. The sub staying limp is one of the first signs something is wrong with water the pump systems. Don't ignore that, its not going to go away on its own. And gobbling love drugs could stick you in the dirt faster. Nothing more stupid than having a heart attack after gobbling a bunch of viagra's. OOOOHHH that reminds me of the job I had as one of those bastards that runs around hospitals sticking people with needles and stealing their blood. Was working the ER and a guy came in that the mast would not lower. Been up for about a day. Got to be careful with those chemical mast raisers. If your healthy and you take that crap.... you might have to get a DOC to lower the mast with a needle in the old wood. Don't be that guy!

What gives here? Why would someone buy so many games but yet spend so little time or no time at all with them? I made that mistake. Years ago I bought many games on steam but realized I didn't have the time to play them. Haven't made the same mistake again. Now I would assume that anyone else would come to the same realization. Now, if we're talking about people who keep buying games they don't play over and over again till they're knee deep in unfinished piles of DVD/CD/software trash, I have no insight on that.

And of those 70-some-odd titles, I think I have about a dozen of them still installed. And yeah, on the other thing, lose you some weight, hit a bike path -or even better, swim- and let me give you the best diet out there. It's called the Don't Eat So Damned Much Diet. Cut your portions in half, or in a third. Stop eating after seven. Cut out sodas, and beer. If you gotta drink, drink wine. You look more sophisticated and it's better for you. You will lose weight. I have lost about 6kg since the summer just doing this. Don't do fads, don't use meds, just get healthier the normal, old fashioned way.

One more submarine comment. There's the opposite problem, the sub surfaces when you want it submerged... I started gaining weight as soon as I met my wife's family (although she stayed thin). Seemed every time I wore a tux the pants would never fit, I'd gain a few pounds from fitting to wearing. Making for an awkward Senior Prom pic. Teenage testosterone and tight fitting tux pants do not a pretty picture make.

We all know that there are many different types of PC gamers when it comes to things like the genres of games they play and whether they mostly do single player or multiplayer, etc., etc. but one type that I've never understood are those gamers who buy a crapload of games and they either play it for a couple of hours and then move on to something else or they never play it at all.
What gives here? Why would someone buy so many games but yet spend so little time or no time at all with them? I can't get past the flight sims.. I think that often people get them with the full intention of using them but get sidetracked. I owned CoD about 6 years before I could run it..
Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.

I have a lot of games. Many were when I was constantly either in the hospital or was required to recover from surgery. I rarely buy games anymore and only when Steam has a sale, so I paid a lot less than it looks.
I wish I had more time to play than I do, but ah well....Someday.

What gives here? Why would someone buy so many games but yet spend so little time or no time at all with them? Some people collect and enjoy guns, others games, others books, others cars, others stamps etc... different strokes for different folks. It's not always easy to understand or judge or agree with the value of someone else's hobby, but you should be able to understand the general idea that if someone enjoys a type of hobby and they have the time and money to collect and enjoy things associated with that hobby then they will. Those same people might not understand how you might play the same game for 500 or 1000 hours without getting bored, but it's all in the eye of the beholder, you do what makes you happy.

Some people collect and enjoy guns, others games, others books, others cars, others stamps etc... different strokes for different folks. While I don't collect games, sometimes I'll purchase a game with no intention of playing it. For example (note that it's still available)... iF-22 Persian Gulf 5.0 http://cdaccess.com/html/pc/if22pers.htmI bought it because I read the packaging was impressive (and it is) and wanted to own that little piece of flight sim history. Plus it's nice sometimes to once again receive an actual box (a heavy one at that), a little nostalgic maybe.
