Also, is there a way to print it out a listing of all the key command settings after I have assigned them. There are so many that I cannot rmeember them in game, and am constantly getting killed while I fumble around trying to remember them.

Hey peppergomez,

I'm not sure on training missions, I don't play much single player stuff but I do know there is an active community.

For the keyboard layouts, look here:

Thanks!

Re: keybindings, I rebind everything because I use the mouse with my lefthand. So I am hoping to be able to generate my own list of key bindings.

Regarding training missions, I could do with one devoted simply to all the stances and various movement types.

I have trouble with keybindings also since I use the arrow keys + kp (just can't get used to wasd). I'm still right handed, so I still have the mouse in my right hand and my left is on the KB. Just remember that you can usually assign multiple assignments to a single key; and that you can use key combos as modifiers

So just for example, I use the arrow keys for movement, and use R-CTRL as my modifier for stances. 2xRCTL toggles prone/standing. Holding RSHFT is walk, 2xRSHFT toggles between crouched and standing. KP0 for sprint/hold breath, and 2xKP0 to toggle combat pace on/off. I use END for my fire modes, 2xEND to switch weapons (rifle->AT), and RSHFT+END to toggle my pistol. DEL is exit vehicle, 2xDEL is eject.

It sounds clunky typing it out, but I seriously have ~80% of my controls within easy reach and don't have to fumble about. You just have to keep tweaking and find out what works. The easiest way is to use a blank map in the editor so you don't have to worry about objectives and whatnot. I've found that the editor is the best training tool for me.

Once you get it how you want, backup your My Documents\Arma3\*username*.Arma3Profile
Then you won't have to do it all over again later down the road.

During the Alpha, I spent 90% of my time with keybindings and tweaking gfx/performance; hardly played the game lol
