Just an FYI for any fence sitters who have not yet tried the game. It is an Arma 3 free weekend on Steam. Steam will allow you to play the game over the weekend without purchasing it. If you like it, you can purchase it for 1/2 off.

I would also invite those that have been not adopting ARMA 3 based on the future equipment to come and join us at SimHQ this weekend. We have a lot of addons, which include the M-4, M-15, AKs and such. So, you might have fun with that.

I urge steam to sell time on 75%.
I have tons of games, including arma3, I just don't have free time to play with them...

Where is there a list of mods for this? I might be vary game for this.

To bad its not OLD school gear LOL. Like those forgotten things like FN49, bm59 or mas 49. Ok I am weird. I keep playing with the idea of whipping up a wonky old school battle rifle mod. But I do not think there would be much interest. Last time I modded for BIS was OFP way way way back when. But that is something else.

Where to get mods and what time? biggrin

The arma 3 single player has gotten some love a few updates back. I was replaying the single campaign and there where some marked improvements. On sale and on the fence, you really should give it a go. Despite the annoying sci fi crap there is some fun in the default.

We can't post the direct links in the forum, due to restrictions from some modders, but you can request the mods from adlabs or meatsheild. I would PM both of them to get a quicker response. Many of these mods are already available at Armaholic if you look for them. This mod pack just puts them together for our usage.

If you want to play on Saturday session, which starts at 4PM Eastern US time, then you will need some additional mods. The links are found here: http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/3983197/Current_Satuday_Addons#Post3983197

The Sunday session starts at 3PM Eastern US time and generally goes until 5PM.

We use the M-4/AK in many missions, but they're not in all the missions. Also, many of the vehicles are still stock. (Until we get some good mods with the current stuff)
